Calling all budding photographers

After the success of last year’s calendar we are again asking for you all to support us with the production of this year’s calendar. This year’s theme is ‘Flora and Fauna of Cragg Vale’ and need your favourite snaps now.

Please send your competition entries through to us via email: info@craggvalecommunity.co.uk

The winners will be credited within the calendar and on show for all to see.
Due to popular demand and visitors to the area wishing to take home our calendar we have brought the closing date forward to the end of July so we can publish it a bit earlier this year.

We will be again looking for sponsorship for the calendar – please let us know if you are interested by emailing us on info@craggvalecommunity.co.uk or contacting Shirley on 883707.

Last year the CVCA calendar invited local photographers to send in their shots from
around Cragg Vale. We received over 80 entries and some wonderful pictures, as can be seen in the gallery above. Thank you to all those that took part. We had a hard job judging the winners but picked some relevant local landmarks from around Cragg depicting all the seasons.

Congratulations to the following winners Steve Marchant, Anne Beard, John Frederiksen, Henri- Pierre Corbett, Thomas Stamp, Marianne Hood and Liz Smith who’s winning shots have been chosen to make up the calendar.
