What is our aim:
Our aims are to continue to support our member's suggestions from our Open Day in 2007 and your continued suggestions since then to improve the quality of life for all in Cragg Vale.

The CVCA is trying to achieve a stimulating community spirit within Cragg Vale and promote and safeguard the character of the village e.g. road safety, green spaces.

What are our objectives:
We have many objectives with the results as shown above and have set up 6 sub groups to support the associated activities:

  1. History Group - to promote interest in the history of Cragg Vale
  2. Environmental Improvements - to safeguard our environment and to improve public spaces in Cragg
  3. Social Activities - to provide a forum for members and all persons in Cragg Vale to share experiences locally.  This includes fundraising and grant applications to achieve our wider objectives.  Check out the news pages for the latest information.
  4. Carbon Neutral Group - to reduce Cragg's carbon footprint
