It's often been said that "a good walk deserves a good beer" so what better way to finish a walk around our beautiful Cragg Vale countryside, than to relax in a friendly pub with some good food and drink ?

We're compiling a few ideas of where to go walking around the area, many of which will include a visit to one of our local hostelries, so if  you are fancying a walk and you're looking for inspiration here are a few ideas of routes to follow, along with distances and expected timings .
